Career highlights (Stock Cars):
  • 2005 - Ran a limited season in the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division Southwest Series, recording an eight-place finish in his first series' start April 9, 2005 at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield.
  • 2004 - Competed in the Late Model Division of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series at Mesa Marin Raceway, where he became the first driver to win the track championship and Rookie of the Year in the same season. In 18 main events, Mayhew won eight times and recorded 14 top-three finishes.
  • Finished third in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series Sunbelt Region behind National Champion Greg Pursley and David Beat.
  • 2003 - Compete in his first stock car race in Late Model Division at Bakersfield's Mesa Marin Raceway, finishing eighth. Made his only other start of the season in the year end 75-lap event, placing second.
